The Merriest New Year

5,4,3,2,1 Happy New Year!  My champagne centerpiece was a smash @ Angela and Josh's NYE party. I had a great time and made it home in time to cheers with Jered at midnight.
I just love these happy hour bouquets!

This arrangement was super fun to make and even more fun to enjoy!  To make it look like champagne in the glass I used floral gel cubes that store water with a very small drop of yellow food color.  In my recipe I used Dendrobium orchids; purple and green made a great color combination to start with. Then white roses to add a bit of elegance. To bring in a beautiful scent I added Stargazer Lilly's, these also brought the soft pink tones that I wanted to incorporate. Green Mini Hydrangea, this is one of my fav's. I used the hydrangea to outline the base of the arrangement. White Mini Carns add some fluff and fill in some unwanted holes. Pink Alstroemeria is a sweet flower when it's fresh and fully opened. Lastly the fun, fun, fun Bear Grass that has an unlimited amount of creative options.

I hope you all had the Merriest of New Years!
